1.Intro (Doomed) instrumental
2.Your Hypocrisy
3.Empty Memory (Hate for Mankind)
4.Blood Painted Sky
5.The Dance of Tormented Spirits
6.Frozen Mist
7.No Hope, No Light…Only Death

Greek black metal band realised the album. This abum is a pure raw black metal abum, with the true power of the black metal. On this this album it can be heard this dark and awesome old school black metal sound, that makes this album evil as hell. The clean vocal’s are so awesome, and the uclean vocal is perfect as well. Tehnical compliance is brought to ideal, acoustic is great, production is awesome. There is on the album the influence of acoustic and atmospheric music, that is integrated phenomenally with the hole album, and it is fitted very well with the songs themeself’s.

This album will take you for a ride trought darkenss, evil, death, coldness, chaos, apocalypse. ISOLERT is anonymos band that desirves a lot of attention of public and listeners. Pure and evil old school black metal band, with dark and almighty black metal music, in it’s full glory.

Vow of Thorns,Meeting On The Astral Plane,Farewell To The Sun

For the past 6 years, Ontario-dwelling black metal doom fusionists VOW OF THORNS have been conceptualizing albums and pushing the boundary between aggressive and emotional. What once served as an anagram for Kevin Hawthorne’s solo work is now a joint effort with Dustin Richards, where the duo has quickly become one of the most intimidating musical ventures to date. The duo have been constructing songs unanimously and without interruption in a seamless writing process to craft work fueled by their musical and environmental influences. Their new album ‘Farewell To The Sun’ is set for release on July 15, 2016 to follow the 2013 debut EP ‘Forest Dweller’. Constantly shifting between disparaging black metal vocals and triumphant guitar hooks dripping with doom-encrusted bass riffs and theatrical drums. The band pairs the forces of black metal and doom, blending the two styles with ease while maintaining a certain sense of tension and uncertainty in the air.

To hear their first single and the album’s opening track ‘Meeting On The Astral Plane’, please visit the following link: link: http://vowofthorns.bandcamp.com/track/meeting-on-the-astral-plane-2

‘Meeting on the Astral Plane’ tells the story of one man’s escape from physical reality to a place of infinite possibilities; an existence free of mortal boundaries. The escape, however, is only temporary and he must return to his lowly existence and face himself, which he does in the following track ‘Great Abomination’. His experience on the astral plane leads him to believe that death may be the ultimate escape. As our protagonist’s experience progresses so does the music. From the triumphant march of the opening riff to the crushing doom encased ending.” comments guitarist D. Richards.

About:

Ontario-dwelling black metal doom fusionists Vow of Thorns once served as an anagram for Kevin Hawthorne’s solo work, now a joint effort with Dustin Richards, the duo has quickly become one of the most intimidating musical ventures to date. The band is constantly shifting between disparaging black metal vocals and triumphant guitar hooks dripping with doom-encrusted bass riffs and theatrical drums. The band pairs the forces of black metal and doom, blending the two styles with ease while maintaining a certain sense of tension and uncertainty in the air. Lyrically, the vocals act like a lone wolf trailing off into a forest unwilling to look back and focusing only on what despair lay ahead. With titles like ‘To The Unknown’ and ‘Wood Etched Epitaph’ on their 2013 debut EP ‘Forest Dweller’ the band accurately absorbs elements of the Canadian northern climate and transcribes it into works of musical art.
One is able to catch a glimpse of each influence in Vow of Thorns songwriting and their influences including Woods of Ypres, Agalloch, Drudkh, Opeth, Daylight Dies, and Wolves in the Throne Room. The band is on a journey that slowly takes on darker, lucid, and more despairing elements as they play more shows and write more records. Vow of Thorns is always developing sinister and near-unstable black metal blanketed by an entrancing shroud. The band is currently gearing up to release their next album and first full-length ‘Farewell To The Sun’ slated for July 15, 2016.

About Words That Burn:
The band was founded in 2010 in the town of Dundalk in the northeast of Ireland. Words That Burn is Roni Macruairi (vocals & guitar), Ger Murphy (bass & vocals), Shane Martin (guitar) and Jason Christy (drums). The band gelled quickly through their mutual desire to create something different to the scene bands that flood the genre – heavy, melodic, crushing, beautiful music.
Words That Burn’s first studio release, the EP ‘Praey’ (June 2013), introduced them as one of Ireland’s most intense alt–metal bands. Renowned for their searing live shows Words That Burn consider each of the songs to be a sonically visual montage of hopes, fears, pain and redemption. ‘Praey’ was followed up in June 2014 by the very well received single ‘Before the Fall’ with accompanying video.
In 2015 WTB signed an international record, distribution and publishing deal with WormholeDeath Records, Aural Music and Warner Chappell Music Holland BV. Work then started in the rehearal rooms in January 2015 to develop their sound further and take it to the next level. In July 2015, they flew to the beautiful Tuscan countryside in Italy where they spent a month recording their first full length album.
Taking musical & sonic influence from bands such as Deftones, Bring Me The Horizon, Slipknot, Faith No More, Northlane, Killswitch Engage and The Defiled, WTB have compiled an album of hook-laden tracks waiting to be unleashed to the masses.

  • Genre: Thrash Metal
  • Band Members:
    Mike Forbes (Bass)
    Alain Groulx (Drums)
    Armin Kamal (Vocals, Guitars)
    Kirk Gidley (Guitars)
  • Hometown: Ottawa, ON, Canada

1. How the band started?

We started back in the mid 80’s as teenagers influenced by all the great metal bands of the time. We consisted of Kirk Gidley (guitars), Armin Kamal (vocals and guitars), Alain Groulx (drums) and Shawn Thompson (bass). That was the core unit and we wrote the majority of the songs with that lineup. We had a blast and all got along really well. We jammed in Shawn’s basement for the longest time since none of us had any money to pay for a rehearsal space. For a brief time we brought in Ian Myers from Faulkwolf to handle lead guitars. We shot a video for the song Thoughts Caught (in between) that made it on the nation’s music video station Much Music. After that the band kind of fizzled out. Back at that time, you either had a record deal and good management, or you didn’t go anywhere. We just didn’t have the connections, so it was a bit discouraging, but also people’s lives took them in different directions towards 1989.

We all remained friends through the years and about two years ago we decided to get back together to do a reunion show. It was just supposed to be for fun, but once we got into it and saw there was still magic there, we had to keep going and go back and properly record the songs we had written back in the 80’s. With Shawn being in Miami, that was not going to work since we all live in Ottawa. So we were lucky enough to land Mike Forbes who has done a fantastic job on the bass. So now we have a debut album out called No Peace and some videos to go with it as well with one more planned.

2. Which band is your role model?

I am the singer and one of two guitar players.

3. What do You think about today’s metal scene?

Right now it’s awesome. So much new and good metal is coming out, and the old school bands are all releasing new material that is just killer. So we are in a healthy metal state right now. I’ve said it before, the worse the situation is in the world, the healthier the metal scene is and it’s likely due to the fact that we are the best at social commentary on the negative stuff going on in the world.

4.How would you describe in one sentence your work?

We are a classic, aggressive, thrash metal band that reports on the state of the world. The funny thing is, these songs are from the 80’s and 95% of them are as or more relevant today. I know…I am on my third sentence now…I cheated.

5. Why did you decide to play this musical direction?

I was influenced by the great metal bands of the 70’s and early 80’s. And when thrash emerged, I was sold. I loved the aggression and it let me say what I wanted to say. It all just fit.

Infrared

6. Where would you most like to play a concert?

Slane Castle. It just looks like a metal place to play.

7. Do you think that the metal festivals are enough visited?

I think they are healthy. We have a few near where we live, the Amnesia Rockfest in Montebello and Heavy MTL in Montreal…..and the attendance is amazing.

8. What are you listening to the most right now?

No Peace of course. Why would we record music we didn’t like? Beyond that, the new Megadeth is brilliant, and getting into the new Destruction.

9. What would you say to your fans?

Just simply, thank you! Given that we literally only started to market ourselves about a couple of months ago with the release of the No Peace album, the response has been fantastic. We can’t wait to play live for you.

10. What are your plans for the future?

Get in front of as many people as we can in 2016 all the while writing and recording new music.

1. Traversing the Frozen North
2.Madness Incarnate
3.Virgin Essence
4.Immaculate Deconception
5.Comte-Sponville (acoustic)

Finnish-American ambient black metal band realised the new EP .This EP is a masterpiace, as all of the albums of this band, black metal masterpiace with the taste of light and darkness combined together.

On this album it can be heard a influence of atmospheric music with raw black metal sound, and ambient music, the influence of atmospheric music is integratd phenomenally with the hole album and the songs.

Tehnical compliance is brought to ideal, acoustic is great, production is awesome.

There is also on the album this old school black metal sound combined with modern black metal sound influenced by space metal, it sounds like you are entering a dark magical world, pure awesomness.

The vocal is awesome, and the death metal vocal is great too, and fitted very good with black metal vocal.

The acoustic song on the album represent’s black metal in it’s full glory, it’s dark, melodic, cold, raw, everything that black metal is. This album will take you to a place of darkness, death, coldness, chaos, apocylpse..

Nihilistinen Barbaarisuus is the a band that are the true master’s of melodic and black metal sound. This band is a ultimate black metal band, with the true masterpiace of black metal music, at it’s full potencial.

About AGGRESSION:

Fast forward to 2005. The 1986 AGGRESSION’s unreleased album Forgotten Skeleton gets unleashed and sees the band reunite at Montreal Metal Massacre fest 2005. Unable to commit to anything more than a few reunion shows, it was decided that the band would be put to rest once more. In the summer of 2014, band founder Denis Sasquatch Barthe hand picked players around him to breathe life back into Aggression. Changing home base from Montreal, QC to Vancouver, BC, Sasquatch recruited vocalist Brian Langley (from Toronto Thrash metal legends Infernal Majesty), bassist Martin Meyer (ex-Disciples of Power, Life Against Death), guitarist Dave Watson (Entropia) and Ryan Murray Idris (Expain) on drums. Since that time, the band has been its most active ever. In  2015, the band toured and co-headlined a number of festivals and select cities throughout North America along with releasing their first album of new material in 27 years entitled ‘Fractured Psyche Demons’ via Galy Records.

Discography:

*band line up for recordings was Denis Sasquatch Barthe (guitar and backup vocals), Botcher (vocals), Burn (guitar), Dug (bass) and Gate (drums and backup vocals).

*1985 – *4 track demo

*1986 – *Live (14 track live album)

*1986  -* 4 Track demo

*1986 – Forgotten Skeleton (originally recorded in 1986 and later released in 2004)

1987 – The Full Treatment (full length) – band lineup for The Full Treatment was Denis Sasquatch Barthe (guitar and backup vocals), Cactus Pete (vocals) Dug (bass and backup vocals) and Gate (drums and backup vocals)

1. How the band started?

Revenience took its final shape in the late 2014, in the middle of the recording sessions for Daedalum (our debut album). We already were a group of friends and we were active in a number of other projects, somehow working on Daedalum was an experience capable of bridging our etherogenous background in a coherent work, released under a new monicker to emphasize the novelty in comparison with our previous experiments.

2. Which band is your role model?

Actually we do not have a specific model to follow, instead we try to mix the suggestions that come from different styles. For sure the big calssic of gothic (i.e. early Within Temptation,The Gathering, Nightwish, etc. ) are influencing us, but we are also very into the progressive metal of the 90’s (Dream Theater, SymphonyX, Opeth, Pain of Salvation) as well as interested in some modern more intimistic or experimental projects (Anathema and Tool amongst others). Furthermore each one has his/her personal musical fixation: for example Debora (vocals) listens a lot to Lana del Rey, Amy Winehouse, Tory Amos,Nothing but Thieves and many other not-properly-metal artists… in general we listen to a lot of different stuff and try to mix it up in songs we all like, so far we were never deluded by this approach.

3. What do You think about today’s metal scene?

One consideration that does not strictly apply to metal but to the whole music (and even, in general, entertainment) industry is that the emergency of the web as main instrument of information and culture has forced people working in that industry to cope with new languages of production and promotion…and this is wonderful! The scene is alive, more and more complex, offering a virtually infinite number of proposals you could listen to everyday. Of course, becoming “big” in this period is much more difficult than how it could be in the 80’s, but this is the price we pay for having easier access to the amazing quantities of inspiration sources we could have, both as listeners and producers. Metal is still doing great, and if you go around in festivals and clubs you’ll easy find out that it will never die, thanks to amazing, dedicated fans and musicians.

4.How would you describe in one sentence your work?

Female fronted cinematic metal to headbang, laugh and cry…often in the same moment!

5. Why did you decide to play this musical direction?

For no particular reason, apart the fact that we love it. Debora’s voice interplays with rythmic patterns, Simone’s growl and dark atmospheres in a way we love, and so the whole thing was pretty natural, even if it took some time and work (of course). There was not an a priori decision on the style, it came out as you can listen in Daedalum or see at our gigs.

revenience

6. Where would you most like to play a concert?

Big Festival and venues are always great, there’s no need to say that, but we think the best place to play to keep improving is the one in which you didn’t play yet, be it the main stage of W:O:A or a small club held by your aunt in your home town.

7. Do you think that the metal festivals are enough visited?

Yes they are…you can see it from the always increasing setlists and the always shortening time to get tickets!!! Festivals are great occasions both for bands (to get in touch with one another and foresee collaboration and tours) and for fans (to know always newer proposals and enjoy music as a big family). Most of all, the atmosphere you can breath at a festival is simply…well, you know how it is! The interesting thing is that new festivals are born every year, at each dimensional scale. This is fantastic, and it’s something metalheads should be proud of.

8. What are you listening to the most right now?

We are continuously looking for new inspirations: the whole Djent scene for example is gathering our attention in this period (TesseracT, Animals as Leaders, Algorythm, etc.) as well as some other kinds of prog stuff (Riverside, Hacken, Soen); we are fascinated from what Nightwish are becoming now with Floor Jansen on vocals and we are following as always the gothic/symphonic scene and all the bands mentioned above. Furthermore being in the underground gives you the possibility to know other emerging bands in the Italian scene whose records are simply astonishing and inspiring.

9. What would you say to your fans?

Thank you for everything you’ve done, for every Km you drove, for every hug, every photo, every sing-along and every clapped hand for us…we hope we’ll be good enough for you to continue supporting us!

10. What are your plans for the future?

We are focusing by every means in the promotion of Daedalum, aiming to play it live as much as possible. We’re planning (together with Sliptricks Record, our label) a Northern/Eastearn Europe tour for the upcoming Autumn. Until then you’ll find us working on new music and lyrics…Stay tuned for upcoming news and surprises!
