“An incredible experience, thanks to Alpha & Omega, Cavalleria Events, the staff of Rock’N Iasi festival, but especially to the great audience that supported us throughout the show also asking for an encore. We are in the seventh heaven!”

Here’s the setlist of the concert:

As recently announced,  DESECRATE‘s song “Nevermore”, from their latest album “Orpheus”, will be featuring in the movie, entitled “Stridor”. The film will come out in late January/early February 2017.

Formed in 1995, DESECRATE immediately became protagonist in the Italian underground scene. Their debut full-length album “Moonshiny Tales (The Torment and the Rapture)” came out in 1998 via Mephisto Records. Due to several musical disagreements, the band went to hiatus in 2001, but after nine years, in 2010, DESECRATE raised from the ashes again, releasing a new album, “XIII The Death” in 2012, via Inverse Records. The band’s sound has remained faithful to the European matrix death metal of the 90’s aggressive and scratching sonority, with several arrangement innovations which together with the constant use of the piano, create a very personal sound. Recently the band has toured in Italy, having one of the highlights the final show with Dark Tranquillity. DESECRATE‘s latest effort “Orpheus” came out in January 2015, followed by a promotional tour in Italy. Also check out “To the Hades and Back” (Official Video):

Soulseller Records:

“Back To The Land Of The Dead” is a comeback for ANCIENT, 12 years after the previous release “Night Visit”. The album was recorded in 7 different locations, in Norway, Denmark, Italy and Greece, mixed in Elfo Studios in Italy, and mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios. The album was produced by Ancient.

With Nick Barker behind the drumkit, the album is, as expected, the most aggressive and fastest album of ANCIENT, yet still with a good amount of clean guitars, and various dark atmospheres as the band is known for. The music was composed by Zel and Dhilorz. The lyrics on the album are all written by Zel, many of them speaking about the devil, the spirit of the devil and how it influences us in various devastating and destructive ways, as well as some fantasy lyrics, still somehow connected with the “old Nick subject”. The album cover shows a hooded figure coming back to “the land of the dead” to wake up the “spiritually dead people there”. The album is 66 minutes long and has 13 tracks, including a cover of Bathory “13 Candles”.

ANCIENT frontman Zel states: “Death is just the beginning… “

JUDAS PRIEST is going to record a new album, and will go also on tour in January 2018

Резултат слика за Judas Priest 2016

JUDAS PRIEST guitarist Richie Faulkner was interviewed by editorial Sweetwater  director Mitch Gallagher during “Making Hard Rock Look Easy”, a three-day recording master class which was held October 20-22 at Sweetwater  campus in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Here are some statments of the Richie Faulkner during the interview:

“Speaking about the progress of the songwriting and recording sessions for JUDAS PRIEST’s follow-up to 2014’s “Redeemer Of Souls” album, He said: “I just flew straight back out of the U.K., straight to Sweetwater. We’ve just been in the studio for a couple of months putting songs together. We haven’t started the recording process yet, but we’re recording demos; we’re recording songs that work without the production to save them, if you know what I mean. But the core value… We’re putting down some grassroots ideas and fleshing them out for the next PRIEST record. So we’re gonna go into the studio to start recording in January. So it should be out sometime next year. But we’re not touring next year. So we’re gonna be touring, hopefully, in 2018.”

He also revealed that he is putting together a touring “guitar event” which will hit the road in 2017. Richie add this too: “I saw this thing about Stradivarius violins. And you know they’ve created some of the most beautiful music the world’s ever known, but what’s happening is people are buying them as an investment and putting them in a bank vault. And the same is starting to happen with vintage guitars, and no one’s hearing… When Jimmy Page played the ’59 Les Paul, that’s not being experienced anymore. So the idea is loosely based around that — getting these guitars out of bank vaults, putting them in a scenario where people can experience them, people can hear them.”

He said also this : “I keep talking about the tribe that we’re all a part of. We’re all guitar nuts, we’re all music nuts, and whether you’re a drummer or a guitar player or whatever, the guitar is an integral part of music for the last fifty, sixty years. So it’s getting those guitars out of retirement and into where I believe they should be. It’s all about that. So it’s all about uniting the tribe, getting the people together. We’re calling it ‘Cult Of Guitar’, ’cause that’s what we’re a part of — it’s a cult of guitar. We’re nuts; we’re all nuts, we’re nerds. [We’re] inviting some friends down, getting their guitars out, talking about why they play them, why it’s got one volume knob, why it’s got this, why it’s got that, why they choose to play it, who turned them on to guitar, and then having a big old jam at the end, with some friends coming down.”

Faulkner spoked about  more details for the  inspiration for the “Cult Of Guitar” tour, saying: “Part of it is, obviously, there are these idyllic instruments that we all listen to, and we all know, when you put on your record player, ‘That’s a ’59,’ or, ‘That’s a ’63 Strat,’ or whatever. But there’s also, right across the gamut, it’s all in your fingers. You don’t have to have one of these [guitars]. This is what we all grew up on, but you can have an Epiphone, or you can have Brian May’s Red Special, it’s all in the fingers. So it goes right from these revered instruments right to… You can take something away from it and go and do your own thing on a guitar that you create, if you want, or it cost a couple of hundred bucks, whatever it is. It’s not about that, at the end of the day; it’s about you and what statement you wanna make on the guitar. And again, it’s a coming together of the clan that I’m a part of and why we’re all doing this. So it should be an exciting thing.”

Heavy metal gods are back again after the long time, to take over the world until thier new album and tour you can watch the video clip of thier other tour:

Based in the Canadian capital of Ottawa, Endemise delivers an astoundingly intense combination of blackened death metal and orchestral awe. Following a series of style-sculpting releases between 2005 and 2012, the band emerged in 2013 with their defining full-length, Far From The Light. The ten punishing tracks were produced by long-time collaborator Mike Bond alongside guitarist Dale Sauve, and became available worldwide via Maple Metal Records. Endemise continues to masterfully blend a din of choking darkness alongside majestic orchestral arrangements – an element featured in full grandeur during live performances – into a mature and cohesive sound that has captivated listeners internationally. Now, in 2016, the band is hard at work preparing the next set of tracks to spread to eager fans, which promise to raise the bar yet again and show fans new and old why they are truly masters of their craft.”
