Complete Faulire were formed in the summer of 2006 as a collaboration between Pittsburgh-based artists Joe Mack and Mike Rosswog out of common interest in favourites such as Terrorizer, Napalm Death, Lock Up, Repulsion, Neurosis, Darkthrone, Mayhem, and many others . When the band first hit the stage at the White Eagle in Pittsburgh on April 14, 2007,they created an immediate buzz that led to a first record deal the same year. immediate buzz that led to a first record deal the same year.
The grindcore antagonists’ debut album, ”Perversions of Guilt” was recorded, mixed and mastered by Steve Austin best known as frontman of Today is The Day. After a tour in the US and Europe in 2008, Complete Failure released their sophomore full-length, which they self-recorded and self-released in the best punk DIY tradition. ”Heal No Evil” (2009) sold out immediately and got quickly picked up and re-issued by a label.
Complete Failure took another step with the release of album number three, ”The Art Gospel of Aggravated Assault”(2013), which underlined their punk and hardcore roots and invited comparisons with such bands as Black Flag, His Hero Is Gone, Man Is The Bastard, and Poison Idea.
For those who like Nails, Pig Destroyer, Brutal Truth, Misery Index, Rotten Sound and Nasum, ”Crossburner” is a sure bet. Complete Failure let you feel the new American anger and sum it up in one word: “Punk!”

James Curl: bass, guitars

This past summer, Cattle Decapitation embarked on a European trek, during which the band filmed a tour documentary, directed by Paul McGuire / Obscenery Films (obsceneryfilms.com). To watch the behind-the-scenes and live footage from Cattle Decapitation on the road, please visit: facebook.com/cattledecapitation.
Here is the statement of the guitarist Josh Elmore about the documentary:
“For several years now, fans have been asking the band to release a video chronicle with live performance footage and enhanced or ‘behind the scenes’ documentation. During a recent European run, our friend Paul McGuire of Obscenery Films traveled with the band and captured glimpses of what day-to-day life on the road is like for Cattle Decapitation and spoke with the members as they reflected on years of touring and what their future holds. The result is an entertaining, humorous and informative documentary that shows the band as a live entity and also what goes on during their down time on tour; play-throughs, interviews, concert chaos, Euro-tourism and more. We hope you enjoy it!”

“The Blood of Gods” is nothing less than a sacred text chronicling the rise of humanity against their makers, and the massive battle between GWAR and the forces of all that is uptight and wrong with the world. Along the way, the band challenges the sins of their great mistake, from politics, pollution, and organized religion, to fast food, and factory farming. Sleazy P. stated this about “The Blood of Gods”:
“Sorry scoffers, you thought GWAR was finished? You’re the one who’s finished when GWAR starts their fall tour after dropping their heaviest album yet. “The Blood of the Gods” will be the soundtrack that covers up your pathetic cries for mercy. So go ahead and scream all you want. Just make sure your in key or your death will be excruciating beyond comprehension.”

What you hear is what you get. Baptism deliver another album that is firmly rooted in Finnish black metal orthodoxy. Again their raw and unbound musical fierceness is counterbalanced by epic melodies buried underneath a shredding onslaught and majestic atmospheres. Yet despite staying true to course there is neither a feeling of stagnation nor of senseless nostalgia. Baptism excel in keeping true to their course, while appearing fresh and raising the stakes with their fifth full-length.
‘V: The Devil’s Fire’ is the result of a long evolution and the acquired craftsmanship of veterans in the field. Needless to mention that the visual trappings of their genre are not being neglected either as expressed by corpsepaint, hoods, and spikes. Nor has the Satanic mysticism on the lyrical side gone missing. The development of Baptism can be best explained through different periods:
Era I: Baptism were formed by vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter Lord S. and Demoniun on drums in the Finnish town of Ylöjärvi in 1998. As early as the summer of the same year, the first and now extremely rare demo ‘Satanic Rituals’ was released. A second demo entitled ‘Sons of Ruin & Terror’ followed in the year 2000. The band was joined by Slaughterer on bass in 2001 and this line-up unleashed first full-length ”The Beherial Midnight” (2002), as well as sophomore album ”Wisdom & Hate” (2003). Afterwards, Lord S. relocated his centre of activity to Kuopio and his former allies left the band.
Era II: Baptism quickly reformed in Kuopio, when Lord S. met Spellgoth and SG.7 joined the band before taking on duties as live guitarist and singing clean vocals. The EP ‘Black Ceremony’ as well as a split 7″ with Uncreation’s Dawn followed in 2004. Local musicians Kobalt on drums as well as SDS and Cinatas were added to the group, which performed their first live ritual in Kouvola, Finland. More live appearances materialised in their home country after the release of a third full-length entitled ”Morbid Wings of Sathanas” (2005). On the following EP ”Evil Mysteries” (2006), Lord . was responsible for playing all instruments.
Era III: Baptism experienced another change of line-up when their mastermind returned to western Finland by moving to Tampere. Cinatas handed his duties over to M, who became the band’s third bassist. The black metal outfit began to perform internationally in 2007. LRH became session drummer for the next album ‘Grim Arts Of Melancholy’ (2008), while TG took over as lead guitarist from SDS. The EP ‘Chalice of Death’ (2010) was recorded and released amidst rituals all over Europe and led to a mini tour in Russia. In the meantime Syphon became the fourth bass player for the Finns.
Era IV: Baptism unleashed their next full-length ‘As the Darkness Enters’ in 2012 for which the men from the north toured during the following year including a first ritual in the USA. A number of reissues of earlier material followed in 2014 as demand for these cult releases had reached new heights. This was emphasised by the rarities compilation album ”Gloria Tibi Satana”, which was released early 2015.
Era V: Baptism sign a new record deal with Season of Mist. The new album ”V: The Devil’s Fire” is finished and ready to be released on the 22nd of July 2016.
The new era for Baptism is now beginning. Get ready for a black blizzard from the north to bring frost and darkness in the middle of this summer!

Melodic death metal monsters Arch Enemy release new live music video for ”The Race” from their new album ”Will To Power” which was out in September 8th via Century Media Records.
Here is the statement of guitarist Michael Amott about this live music video and the song:
“This was actually the last song written for the ‘Will To Power’ album. Listening through all the material we had up to that point we agreed that the album needed one more song that would be a relentless and fast paced counterpoint to some of the more epic compositions we already had. We sent Alissa the music and she came up with a thought provoking lyric and an intense vocal arrangement that complemented the music perfectly. We’ve been having a blast playing the song on current tour and we had our video director Patric Ullaeus come out to capture the mayhem at our recent show in Helsinki, Finland… Enjoy ‘The Race’!”

Many words come to mind when you hear the name Cannibal Corpse, but one truly defines the soon-to-be thirty-year death metal veterans: Unstoppable. Produced by Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal, Goatwhore).
”Red Before Black” serves to not only reiterate this but to once more raise the stakes, making it very clear who sets the standard when it comes to always compelling music that is equally brutal and complex. Moreover, the band have pushed themselves again, ensuring that it stands out from their catalog.
Zev Deans stated this:
“After crawling through abandoned buildings, crashing our van into a tree in the middle of a scene, witnessing a real stabbing and drenching ourselves in fake blood in a derelict park at 5am, we can safely say this was a proper introduction to the slasher genre for Panorama Programming. We brought a slab of fresh meat back from a rotting metropolis, and we’re serving it to you raw. Come and get it.”

Bassist Alex Webster stated this about their new upcoming album:
“Throughout our career we’ve tried to improve the precision of both our musical execution and our album production, while still maintaining full-on aggression. ‘Red Before Black’ continues in that direction, but might go even further on the aggressive side of things. It’s definitely precise, but it has a rawness to it that goes beyond anything we’ve done recently,”
Drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz stated this also about the new upcoming album:
“We really worked super hard crafting these songs, practicing them, and getting them where we wanted to be more so than on any of our previous albums,” adds drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz and as Alex said, musically I think it’s the most raw sound we’ve had – and at the same time I think it’s our most focused, tightest and catchiest record.”

During Friday on October 13th and on October 14th, melodic death metal band Nemesis shoot a video for their song “Uprising”, which will be on their first debut album. The song will different in musical style from the previous two songs that have been published. The premiere of the video can be expected in a month, when the video editing is complete. The interesting thing about the video, is there is a helicopter in it, so the video is going to be amazing for sure.
Nemesis is formed by 5 girls, Sanja Drca – vocals, Aleksandra Petrovic and Tijana Milivojevic on guitars, Anja Tvrtkovic on bass guitar and Selena Simic for drums. For the past two years, they have actively promoted their author’s work inspired by the bands of Arch Enemy, Death, In Flames, Kreator. In addition to numerous performances in Serbia, they had remarkable performances in Ljubljana at the ”Day of Rock Women” Festival and at this year’s Demofest in Banja Luka in front of 5000 people. Their performance is characterized by melodic riffs, a strong rhythm of the sections as well as the raw energy that this five has. So far they have released two singles, “Vengeance” in the form of video clip and “Divine Retribution” as a lyric video. They are currently in the stage of recording and publishing new singles and spots, and they hope the album’s debut will be released next year. Inspiration for texts is in the 21st century problems, such as capitalism and globalization, but also in philosophical themes.
Statement of the band about the new song and video ”Uprising”:
“This video is definitely something about which we have done the most so far and we hope that the audience will recognize it when he sees and hears the song. The whole action was very guerrilla, because resources were limited to us, but each of us gave our maximum to make it all possible. For recording and editing videos, On-set studio is composed of Stefan Tasic and Magdalena Stankovic, and the mix and master of the song are signed by Stevan Radoicic, we especially thank those people for organizing the song as much as we do 5. The concept of the video will not be revealed because it is reserved for the prime minister, but we hope that they will like to see those who watch it.
In addition, we would like to thank you very much and to thank Sari Krneta and the Balkan Helicopters team who lovingly welcomed us during the first day of the shooting and made us feel like the big rock stars. In addition, we must thank the Cultural Center Magacin, Bojan Simic,Isidora Dimić, Zoran Nestorovic, Ivan Srdanovic, Igor Jelic, Tamara Tasic, Leo Ivanisevic, Teodora Milutinovic, Dragan Gavrilovic, Stefan Simic, Veljko Veljkovic, Nikolic Vidojevic, Vito Kovacevic, Uros Milosevic, Srdjan Zuvić, Radomir Popović and Vladimir Obradović, an expert associate at the Bežanijska Kosa student sports center, who during these days helped us with shooting and giving the resources that had not failed us. ”
