GWAR’S popular comic “ORGASMAGEDDON” collected edition is going to be released!

Due To Massive Demand, GWARORGASMAGEDDON will see release as a trade paperback from Dynamite Comics, collecting all 4 issues of the hit series.  The book will include the main story by GWAR’s Matt Maguire, Matt Miner, Jonathan Brandon Sawyer and Tom Neely, plus all the backup stories and art from a wide range of ultra-talented creators and members of GWAR themselves.
Statement of the co-writer Matt Miner about the comic:
“It’s been an honor to work on this book with the guys from GWAR.  “I’m thrilled and humbled by the massive positive response the comic books have gotten and I’m ecstatic that Dynamite Comics is publishing a collected paperback that can sit on library shelves and corrupt children for decades to come.”
GWAR and Matt Miner ask that fans pre-order the new trade paperback and visit www.comicshoplocator.com to find their local stores, to ask them in person, on Twitter, Facebook, or on the phone to carry the book on their shelves.  “Facebook messages are the least intrusive but most effective means of outreach,” says Miner.  “If the trade paperback does well then we could see a second comic series of blood-drenched antics featuring our favorite Scumdogs of the Universe.”
Miner also has some advice for those wanting to own copies of the book themselves: “Get your pre-orders in now and secure your copy.  Wait until it’s sold out and you’ll be selling kidneys on the black market to pay jacked-up prices on eBay.”
The comic creators have provided a pre-order coupon for fans to print and bring to their local comic stores, and, should eager readers not have a local comic store, Miner suggests pre-ordering online from Things From Another World (TFAW.com) at this link: http://bit.ly/TFAWgwar
Having already violated the art, music, and film worlds, now infamous scumdogs GWAR are coming for your graphic novels and bookstores!  Do you need to be a GWAR fan to love this book?  Hell no!  There’s loads of laughs, violence, fun, and irreverent social satire for everyone to enjoy!
Trampling through the past after being trapped in time by the cold and calculating Mr. Perfect, GWAR fights and kills and kills and KILLS, slogging their way through human history in a torrent of gore, blood, bile, and other assorted bodily fluids the way only the most famous satirical heavy metal band from the depths of outer space can.
Again, what grim vision this? Blood stained tomb, beer cans, and piss…

About the band:

Harnessing their crazy sense of humor and love of all things metal, vocalist Rob “Rawrb” Kersey and guitarist Josh “The J” Key joined forces with drummer Alex “Shmalex” Dontre and bassist Matty J “Moose” to create Pyschostick, and a style of music they’ve coined as ‘humor-core’. With hilarious lyrics, heavy riffs, notorious stage antics and high-energy performances, the band have caused millions of laughs around the world and hundreds of mosh pits across the US of A, often simultaneously, since its birth in Phoenix, AZ in 2000.

Now residing in Chicago, IL, the almost 100 percent do-it-yourself laugh factory Psychostick have released four full-length albums ”We Couldn’t Think of a Title” (2006), ”Sandwich” (2009), ”Space Vampires VS Zombie Dinosaurs in 3D” (2011) and ”IV: Revenge of the Vengeance” (2014) and two EPs their holiday album, ”The Flesh Eating Rollerskate Holiday Joyride”(2007), and ”The Digital Appetizer”.

With their signature sound (Chimaira, Machine Head and Hatebreed sexing Tenacious D and Weird Al Yankovic) their most recent offering, the crowd-funded ‘‘IV: Revenge of the Vengeance” includes the beard anthem ‘Obey the Beard’ and popular ‘Dogs Like Socks’”Quack Kills”, ”So. Heavy.”, ”Blue Screen”, and a tribute to the 21st century’s most beloved action superhero, ‘Bruce Campbell’. Psychostick is crazy to share with fans many more comedy sing-a-longs on the road and more!

Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals reveal first track called ”Choosing Mental Illness” and details of new album ”Choosing Mental Illness As A Virtue”!

Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals are announcing the release of their sophomore full-length, ”Choosing Mental Illness As A Virtue”  through the singer’s label Housecore in the Americas and in license via Season of Mist in other parts of the world on January 26th, 2018.

The band is now releasing the title-track “Choosing Mental Illness” outside of the Americas at the link below.

Philip H. Anselmo stated this about the new album:

“Our new album, ”Choosing Mental Illness As A Virtue” is going to get hated. It’s going to get loved. Like every record, I’ve ever done, I put zero expectations upon my peers, critics, or the general fucking public. If you take one thing away from it, let it be this: Do not bog yourself down to one brand, character, or whatever. Have the guts to spread your wings and fucking flourish. I can promise you this is a beginning. As my music trickles out over the next two years, it’s going to be quite the roller coaster ride. This new Illegals is just the tip of the whole fucking avalanche.”

The line-up of the The Illegals  has changed on several positions since album one. This is what Phil has to say about his new crew: “Their creative input is fucking fantastic. This is something that was very different from the first record where I was very staunch. I wanted it to be ugly. I was very firm that I was writing every fucking note. The thought was, ‘This is my contribution to ugly music right this second in a heavy metal vein.’ That was great at the time. ‘Walk Through Exits Only’ made its own little statement that I am a free agent and I belong to no single band. This time, I worked closely with everyone. We tried different ideas together. It made the spirit of this thing come alive even more because of the enthusiasm these guys bring. It enhanced the integrity of the project.”

On further news,  Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals are also releasing artwork and album details of ”Choosing Mental Illness As A Virtue”, which can be viewed below.

PHILIP H. ANSELMP & THE ILLEGALS album cover

Tracklist:
1. Little Fucking Heroes
2. Utopian
3. Choosing Mental Illness
4. The Ignorant Point
5. Individual
6. Delinquent
7. Photographic Taunts
8. Finger Me
9. Invalid Colubrine Frauds
10. Mixed Lunatic Results

Philip H. Anselmo is an iconic artist, maybe a little bruised, scarred, singed, and somewhat battered by time, himself, and others. But the Texan remains proudly standing, unbent, and still angry. Loved and hated, attacked and praised, Phil is not ready to go down into the archives of musical history without a fight.

His new cooperation with the band that Phil himself created, The Illegals, is as brutal, kicking, lashing, and fury-filled as one could expect from this artist and  Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals‘ debut ”Walk Through Exits Only” (2013). Their sophomore album, ‘Choosing Mental Illness As A Virtue’ is a much the metaphorical fist in the face and display of force as his adherents could wish for.

”Choosing Mental Illness As A Virtue” is not a simple repeat of the past – as tempting as that might sound, considering that no other artist left a deeper mark on metal in the 90’s than Pantera. Raging, roaring, and bulldozing their way through the metal scene, the Texans have left a lasting legacy. At their front stood anger and hostility personified ,Philip H. Anselmo. What followed for example with Down and Superjoint Ritual has further cemented the singer’s reputation as a living legend. As an artist in his own right, Phil finally emancipated onto a solo-path with ”Walk Through Exits Only”, which enabled him to do exactly as he pleased – with no need to compromise on anything.

Now, ”Choosing Mental Illness As A Virtue”  follows along the path that  Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals debut has carved, but takes the mega-heavy, angry monster born out of mating the visceral aggression and power of Pantera with the devastating thrash and Southern sludge that Phil and the New Orleans scene pioneered.

Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals are back and about to mercilessly install ”Choosing Mental Illness As A Virtue” as a new benchmark for extreme heaviness.

Line-up:
Philip H. Anselmo: vocals
Mike DeLeon: lead guitars
Jose “Blue” Gonzales: drums
Stephen “Schteve” Taylor: guitars
Walter Howard: bass

Many words come to mind when you hear the name Cannibal Corpse, but one truly defines the soon-to-be thirty-year death metal veterans: Unstoppable. Produced by Erik Rutan (Hate EternalGoatwhore).

Red Before Black” serves to not only reiterate this but to once more raise the stakes, making it very clear who sets the standard when it comes to always compelling music that is equally brutal and complex. Moreover, the band have pushed themselves again, ensuring that it stands out from their catalog.

Zev Deans stated this:

After crawling through abandoned buildings, crashing our van into a tree in the middle of a scene, witnessing a real stabbing and drenching ourselves in fake blood in a derelict park at 5am, we can safely say this was a proper introduction to the slasher genre for Panorama Programming. We brought a slab of fresh meat back from a rotting metropolis, and we’re serving it to you raw. Come and get it.

Bassist Alex Webster stated this about their new album:

Throughout our career we’ve tried to improve the precision of both our musical execution and our album production, while still maintaining full-on aggression. ‘Red Before Black’ continues in that direction, but might go even further on the aggressive side of things. It’s definitely precise, but it has a rawness to it that goes beyond anything we’ve done recently,

Drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz stated this also about the new album:

We really worked super hard crafting these songs, practicing them, and getting them where we wanted to be more so than on any of our previous albums,” adds drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz and as Alex said, musically I think it’s the most raw sound we’ve had – and at the same time I think it’s our most focused, tightest and catchiest record.

Complete Faulire were formed in the summer of 2006 as a collaboration between Pittsburgh-based artists Joe Mack and Mike Rosswog out of common interest in favourites such as Terrorizer, Napalm Death, Lock Up, Repulsion, Neurosis, Darkthrone, Mayhem, and many others . When the band first hit the stage at the White Eagle in Pittsburgh on April 14, 2007,they created an immediate buzz that led to a first record deal the same year. immediate buzz that led to a first record deal the same year.

The grindcore antagonists’ debut album, ”Perversions of Guilt” was recorded, mixed and mastered by Steve Austin best known as frontman of Today is The Day. After a tour in the US and Europe in 2008, Complete Failure released their sophomore full-length, which they self-recorded and self-released in the best punk DIY tradition. ”Heal No Evil” (2009) sold out immediately and got quickly picked up and re-issued by a label.

Complete Failure took another step with the release of album number three, ”The Art Gospel of Aggravated Assault”(2013), which underlined their punk and hardcore roots and invited comparisons with such bands as Black Flag, His Hero Is Gone, Man Is The Bastard, and Poison Idea.
