About Viscera:

Viscera was  founded by brothers Chris Edward & Ralph Anthony ”Rafael” Buzea , the two life long travelers, nomadic souls, inseparable! Viscera is the definitive ”Ride or Die” band outta Hollywood, CA. Masters of their unique blending of metal, punk & rock … not your typical band … not your typical sound … and, most definitely, not your typical group of musicians. Currently, Viscera are recording their first full length LP; at LA Sound Studios in Hollywood, CA; expected release mid 2017, along with several music videos in support of the new record. On their last tour, Angels & Demons 2016, the band made a bit of history; being the first ever American artist, of any genre, to travel to and perform in the country of Belize.

Viscera, hailing, in part, from Mexico City, bits of Canada & all across the United States .. their ferocious appetites for anarchy, adventure & revolution landed the already notorious ”Booze Brothers” in Los Angeles, California; where they quickly injected themselves deep into the heart of Hollywood .. the entertainment capital of the world .. City of Angels.

They wasted no time in establishing Viscera most infamous home base to date, only inches from Hollywood Boulevard’s legendary Walk of Fame .. in the Yucca Corridor at Whitley Avenue … a hotbed already bubbling with radical, delinquent, frequently nefarious, often musical  talents, faces & activities.

This lion’s den would serve as the epicenter to the band’s meteoric arrival into the artistic atmosphere; an explosive wave whose gravity would pull into the group, not only, Italy’s guitar phenomenon n all around wild child Marko Polo, but also Glendale’s rock n’ roll titan & prodigal son Moses Gonzalez .. the ONLY two musicians in town whose spirits, drive, intensity & durability could both match and mesh with that of the Buzea Bros. .. in such a way .. to bring you .. Viscera!

For the past 35 years (formed in May 1982), D.R.I. has been the epitome of the agressive, hardcore-punk thrash sound that we’ve all become accustomed to hearing. Throughout this time, they’ve been one of the few genuine underground bands to remain true to their pure punk roots. Still actively touring, recording and thrashing just as hard, and just as loud as ever, continuing to overload our senses with the sound that is, and will always remain, uniquely D.R.I.

Deadwound- Identity Shapes

British blackened hardcore sludge metal band Deadwound has recorded some really brutal and evil album. The main thing with this album, is that it has that old school vibe to it, as well the combination of many extreme musical genres, that makes this album very interesting for listening.

Not so good thing about it, is that the every song is almost the same. Good thing is that this album has  that raw old school sound to it, and with some evil lyrics, it has that insane evil spirit to it.

Tehnical compliance is very good, acoutic is to loud, yeah it should be, but it should be quieter, it would leave  a better impression on the audience, as well that it will present songs in the right way.

Deadwound is a band that has attitude to their music, also the music it’self is quite unusual with the combination of all the genres, so with that, this album has it’s own charm. Pure evil music, with some ocult lyrics, that will present every listener of this album a true meaning of darkness.

Live Report: Wolf’s Hunger strikes hard, with the almighty wrath!

Blaqutio Cojones/Putrid Blood/Wolf’s Hunger

Dom Omladine, Belgrade

26.11.2016

Wolf’s Hunger held a concert in the club of Dom Omladine, and this concert was a promotion of their latest new album “Bezte Zivi Vracaju se Mrtvi“.Well the one think I can say about this concert was, that it had some energy and the atmosphere was really great. The other two bands have had a great perfomancies, the rage and anger was all over the place in the club.

The first band to perform was Serbian punk rock band Blanquito Cojones. When they entered the stage the fans supported the band like there was thousands  and thousands of people there, well the club was almost full, they began the show with the song”Alkohol“. This band is quite interesting, thier perfomance is always unigue, the interaction with fans is like the fans are friends with them personally. They gave the beer and other alcohol drinks to all the fans in the front of the stage, as a introduction to the song “Vinjakolada“, of course the alcohol that was given to the crowd made the atmosphere even more crazier and positive and to get even more crazier they brought on the stage some other punk musicians to play with them, the crowd went in trance completely. They sang many of thier songs like “Deca iz bloka“, “Bubasvaba” and “Rakija” which on the third one second vocalist Dusko gave more alcohol to the audience again. So the time went on, and the band had to leave the stage.

Blanguito Cojones

The second band to play was Serbian thrash-hardcore black metal band Putrid Blood. Well in my opinion the band that crushed with the sound was this band, the club was shaking. The crowd screamed after each song, because the band has some kickass and badass sound to their perfomance. One of the song they played and crowd reacted very positive to them was “Silovanje”, the song is a strong one, and the crowd gone mad on it, also the second song that brought out the most attention was “Pokvaren Do Srzi“, the crowd headbanged, there were some moshpits, it was a real good atmosphere. The fans of the band were enjoying every second of their concert. The third song that brouhgt out the most attention was “Vođa“,crowd singed some songs about the politics, but that was not important everyone had a blast. The band got off the stage and left the crowd and fans in disbelief in a good way.

Putrid-Blood

Finnaly the stars of  the night and headliners Wolf’s Hunger Serbian thrash black metal band arrived at the stage to promote their latesr album. Sadly the larger crowd left the club before the show and the loyal fans and friends stayed to the end, it’s sad because the band is really great, and desirves more, so they played in almost empty club.So they began the vocalist Caslav has some amazing screams coming from his throat. The first song to play was one from their latest album called “Bez’te Zivi Vracaju se Mrtvi” as the album itself is called. The crowd reacted very good to the song, and then there were other songs from the new album like “U Vatri Sazdan” and “Gvozdeni Puk” and they played other songs from their album also, but in my opinion could sound better, but they didn’t as on the album. They played some other older songs too like “Great Serbia” and “Krv Moja Srpska“.This band needed that anger and passion like they had on the album, they had it but, they needed more, so that their songs could sound more agressive and raw as their are. The last song they played was a song of the Serbian punk metal band Ritam Nereda called “Heroj” with vocalist of the Serbian band Mortal Combat- Milos Krickovic, and then the fans got on the stage to sing some song and then the band got off the stage, and the show ended, some people were satisfied some very not, but  the thing is you can not satisfy everyone, that’s the thing about the great bands you can love them or hate them. This band is going to be big, but they need more that raw power on thier live shows, great concert with some amazing atmosphere.

Returning to the Roots in jungle style

Downstroy/Remedy/Max and Igor Cavalera

Dom Omladine, Belgrade

14.11.2016

So Cavalera brothers Max and Igor Cavalera a members of Legendary Brazilian metal band Sepultura held a concert at “Dom Omladine” in Serbia at big hall “Americana”.I can say that the concert was more than amazing, they brought there special vibe and energy that Sepultura had a long time ago, it’s not the same, but almost the same.

The first support act to play was Serbian Downstroy hardcore groove band. The guys were really good, the sound was, the singer was all over the place full of energy, the crowd reacted to the band very well, there were ovations, screaming, headbanging. The think about this band I like the most is that energy, they totally has that positive spirit in their perfomance. Afer same time the band left the stage, the crowd was very satisfied.Downstory

The second support act was Serbian metal band Remedy and this is there first gig ever as a band. This band brought some interesting to their show and unigue. It something like reggae and metal together, the crowd was hypnotized by the sound of the band, the lead singer Kojot had some very amazing energy that he brought to the audience. The sound was good, there were headbanging, screaming, the crowd was totally in the good mood. Sadly the band left the stage and left the crowd and thier fans confused and happy.

Remedy

So the moment has come for the legendary brothers from Sepultura to play. The few minutes of waiting were in progress, and them the massive ovations were heard in the hall. The band is going to play a full legendary masterpiace “Roots” from Sepultura, so the show started. Max welcomed the audience, and said many times “Go fucking crazy, I would like to see some circle pits”. There were screaming, ovations, headbanging, mosh pits, circle pits, the crowd was really having a awesome time. With every song from the famous record, fans were in trance, there was a jungle atmosphere at the stage and beetween the crowd also. There were also playing a “Ace of Spades” of the Legendary godfathers Motorhead, the crowd went crazy on this live cover. So the band left the stage, the fans and the crowd were calling them, they return for the encore. The shows goes on, the madness was still there, but the madness had to stop in some point. The band goes of the stage at the fans and crowd didn’t know what hit them.

Max and Igor Cavalera

This concert was one of the most interesting and entertaining concert’s. Return to the Roots with Max and Igor in some badass junge style.

Rating Concert:10/10
