Lacuna Coil got down with sickness, a night of pure demonstration of power and might!

On November 13th Italian alternative metal giants Lacuna Coil held a concert in Belgrade at Dom Omladine for the first time, with Italian symphonic metal band Sinheresy and alternative  Swiss metal band Cellar Darling(former members of Eluveitie). This concert was a mind-blowing one, all three bands were so energetic, they were all over the stage whole the time, they were glad to be there for the Serbia crowd.

The first band to play was Italian symphonic metal band Sinheresy. This band is just a perfect example of a role model for the bands to see, how they can dominate the stage, their energy on the stage, that passion while they are on the stage is just beyond amazing. The crowd reacted very good to them, but the negative side is that the crowd was literally dead, the band tried to awake the crowd and they did it in a few moment’s, but after that, they were in the same mind state. I like how Cecilia Petrini and Stefano Sain were one on the stage, it’s like they were spirit twins and of course, the riffs were awesome.

The band didn’t play that long, but they presented great music, with even more better performance. They left the stage and they were happy that they are going to meet their fans after the shows.

The second band to play was Swiss alternative metal band Cellar Darling. This band is quite interesting one they have many influences in their music like pop, folk, rock, but the riffs are totally in metal style.

Vocalist Anna Murphy said to the Serbian crowd that they are glad to be here for the first time and ask them if they are ready for the show and there were ovations everywhere. The show has begun band played their new songs and the crowd reacted very well to them.  The most amazing moment on the concert was when she used the drums and played them and some strange instrument it was a very cool moment.

Anna is such a charismatic vocalist, her smile and performance are pure joy to watch and to listen to. The show went on and the band played the last song, and they got off the stage.

The time has come for the Italian alternative metal giants Lacuna Coil to perform. The fans waited for the band to began with the show. They got on the stage and the mayhem of ovations began.

The Christina Scabbia thanked the fans for coming, and that she is very glad to be here, and ask them if they are ready for the show. The band played songs from their new album ”Delirium”, fans didn’t react specially to it, they wanted to hear an older stuff, but this is not a bad record, so I say let’s give it a try. In my opinion, the songs are very good and they sound so great live.

As the time passes, the band played and then the fans have gone crazy. I like how every one of time present in their costumes some insane personalities and characters, every character has its own disease, their performance was just not a performance, they presented the dark and true side of life as it is.

The best reactions were when they played cover of the legends Depeche Mode the song is called ”Enjoy the Silence”, the crowd went insane, they were singing like they were one and it was an amazing moment on the show, the hole effects on the stage and of course the energy of the band made this show more powerful and unique.

The show went on the band had to leave the stage leaving their fans with a smile on their faces and the other part, well they were not satisfied, but the band surely was. They left the stage, and there was no encore, the fans of the band were satisfied.

This show was a demonstration of true power, a devastating crushing sound tear up the souls of fans, but there is one bad thing, there were fans that didn’t have energy, but the band had the energy to support the fans, but still, the small crowd totally showed a true support to the band and that is important. This band showed that they are such a specific and unique band and they tear up to halls at Dom Omladine, living no one immune to it. The night of the pure destruction and power.

Arch Enemy is in the studio, working on a new album, which is going to be probably released in September!

Swedish melodic death metal giants Arch Enemy are preparing some wicked material for the new album, with Alissa White-Gluz, this album is going to be very interesting, because that the question is that, is Arch Enemy going to record a massive successful album ”War Eternal”. Check out their comment’s  on the interview with Conny Schiffbauer of Germany’s Rock Hard magazine had a  interview with Arch Enemy singer Alissa White-Gluz and guitarist Michael Amott during this year’s 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise.

Here are the comment’s about upcoming Arch Enemy album:

Michael: “The new album is written. It’s partially recorded. Right now, Alissa living in Canada and I’m in Sweden, we’ve been e-mailing files and stuff to each other. I’d send her a demo, and then she’d put vocals on that in her home studio, sends it back, and I say, ‘Great.’ You know, it’s just been kind of like that — working a bit separately. And after this cruise, we’re actually gonna get together in Sweden at some point and… you know, there’s a lot of stuff left to do — all the guitars and vocals and bass.”

Comment’s about the musical direction of the new Arch Enemy material:

Alissa: “It’s hard to say until you hear the final album, I think. ‘Cause you’re so deeply involved with every detail that it’s hard to see the big picture of it until it’s actually all complete. I wouldn’t even know how to approach that question.”

Michael: “It’s very diverse, I think, the material. It’s got a lot of trademark Arch Enemy elements, I guess. I can think a song is really, really different, but then we’re gonna play it, it’s gonna be us playing it, Alissa singing, it’s gonna sound very, very Arch Enemy. So it’s not like a huge departure, but it’s definitely the next… I think we’re more relaxed, maybe, than on the last album… ‘Cause Alissa’s been with us for three years, and it’s not as tense, maybe, as it was the last time around. [Before we released War Eternal] we were, like, ‘We don’t even know if people are gonna like this, if people are gonna accept us, Arch Enemy, with a new singer.’ We didn’t really know, which made the songs maybe more… To me, War Eternal’ has a very kind of dark and very angry and claustrophobic feel to it, which is really cool. But I think the new one is gonna be more open and probably more powerful, actually.”

Arch Enemy’s new guitarist, Jeff Loomis (ex-Nevermore), contributed to the songwriting on the band’s new album:

Michael: “Not with the songwriting, but he’s gonna be playing on the album, of course.”

On Michael’s plans for Black Earth, the project featuring former and current members of Arch Enemy performing material from Arch Enemy’s first three albums live on stage:

Michael: “Yeah, I don’t wanna confuse people, but what happened was the very first Arch Enemy album featured a completely different lineup, with my brother on guitar, and Johan [Liiva], the original male singer that we had on the first three albums. So it was the twentieth anniversary coming up. That album, and the three albums that we did with Johan, were very successful in Japan at the time, in the ’90s, so we thought we’d do something to commemorate that and have some fun. So what we did is we went over there and played seven shows, a sold-out tour, that did very well for us. And, yeah, one of the nights was recorded. But I think it’s only planned for release in Japan. We’re just keeping it very separate. But that was a lot of fun. It’s always fun to play with my brother, and, of course, it’s great [to play] with Johan as well; it’s fun.”

Alissa’s comment on her upcoming solo album:

Alissa: “Yeah, I’m gonna be releasing a solo album in probably early 2018. And the project is just called Alissa, because there’s no band — it’s just me. But I am collaborating with a lot of different musicians that I’m friends with — past and current members of Arch Enemy, people from Kamelot, Doyle [Misfits]. Basically, the goal with this project is just to do music that I love that’s different from what I do with Arch Enemy and do it with people that I love. So far, I really like how it’s going. And it’s just another creative outlet for me. So I’m looking forward to seeing what people think about that.”

On what the music on her debut album sounds like:

Alissa: “It’s hard to describe, again, because, like I said, it’s not finished yet, so I’m not exactly sure. But so far, I would have to say it’s like maybe Opeth meets Muse [laughs], if you can call it that. So I don’t know if I would call it metal or if I would call it rock. There’s clean singing in there, there’s gonna be some interesting covers in there. It’s definitely heavy, it’s definitely emotional, powerful. That’s what I like, that’s the kind of music I like. Other than that, I’m not sure how to label it.”

Arch Enemy will release a new live DVD, As The Stages Burn!, on March 31 via Century Media Records. The set contains video of the band’s largest stage production to date from their performance last summer at the Wacken Open Air festival in Wacken, Germany.

Arch Enemy is going to celebrate the release of As The Stages Burn! with a number of European shows with special support from Lacuna Coil and The Haunted.

Genus Ordinis Dei – Tour Video Diary

The italian symphonic death band have been on an extensive 40 days, 31 shows, 13 countries european tour, chapter of the still on ”Delirium World Tour” that will be heading soon to South America, supporting their country fellow LACUNA COIL and the danish FOREVER STILL.

GENUS ORDINIS DEI and LACUNA COIL already know each other well as the band’s “EP 2016” was produced by Marco Coti Zelati, bass player, composer and now also producer of Lacuna Coil.

Check out these three videos they released as a tour diary to know them better and see how they rock on stage!

About the band:

Genus Ordinis Dei were established in 2011 from a circle of friends residing in Crema, Italy.
The line-up is composed by the four co-founder members: Nick K (Vox & Guitars), Tommy Mastermind (Guitars & Orchestra), Steven F. Olda (Bass), Richard Meiz (Drums). Every band member comes from an academic music background; they studied and graduated in some of the best music academy in Italy (RGA, MMI, NAM).

Between 2011 and 2013, the band sculpted its style, melting a sort of a new millennium metal with symphonic sonorities. During this they started to develop an idea of a trilogy where the first album to be released is “The Middle”, the second act of the entire story.

In 2014 Genus Ordinis Dei started the recording of their self-titled EP in February 2015, at the JDM Studio of Jonas Macullo, mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio. The producer was Marco Coti Zelati introduced to them by Fabrizio Scotti who works in the italian music industry since years.

In late 2015 the band signed with the Danish label “Mighty Music” for a worldwide distribution of both the two works.
The band entered the studio in summer 2016 to record the next full length “Great Olden Dynasty” which is entirely produced by Simone Mularoni (the greatest sound engineer in metal, in Italy). This album will contain a very special duet, Nick K will duet with Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil.

The first single, “Halls of Human Delights”, has been released last October right before the start of the European Tour with Lacuna coil and Forever Still. “Great Olden Dynasty” will be released this year soon.

Italian alternative metal band Lacuna Coil  realised his eighth studio album „Delirium“.  This album is „The new chapter for band“as the band itself say. This is true, this album  brought out  darker and deeper sound.

Songs are  full of deep darkness, loneliness and sorrow. Lot’s  of symphony and harder sound, will  left you in the deepest forest of the mind. This is one technical and production phenomenal album, that is not surprise for this band.

Sound is deep and every moment in all songs is plan and cephalic calculated, but domination of  generic riffs,  some time bring out  the best in the song.

Briliant Cristina Scabbia is one again demostrated power of her voice, and put all of the album in stabile place.

This is one, very powerful and deep album. This year Lacuna Coil  recorded the album, that is worthy of  attention.
