True legend from immortal Danish heavy metal bands Mercyful Fate/Ex-King Diamond, the Danish Guitarist Michael Denner with his new band Denner’s Inferno premieres the music video for the song “Fountain of Grace” today, taken from their upcoming new album “In Amber” which will be released in November , today, via Mighty Music Records.
The EP is released in 500 limited copies black 12” vinyl and 500 limited edition jewelcase CDs.
The band was formed out of the former band Trickbag in 2018 lead by Mechael Denner from Mercyful Fate/King Diamond and the magic can be unsleashed.
This song has that powerful 70’s spirit and the song is in old school metal style. The intro begins with some mind-blowing solos and slow drum set, which is perfectly fused with each other, and the heavy/doom metal riffs from hell added that evil touch to the song, making it so diabolical and great for listening. It has the influences from the Mercyful Fate/King Diamond, but also Black Sabbath, just a perfect combo of doom/heavy metal madness, also inspired by the 70’s hard rock.
With this influences, the song has a strong background and musical diversity, which makes this song a perfect hard rock/heavy metal anthem. Vocalist Chandler Moge with his amazing voice, demonstrated the vocal skills that made the song even more greater than already is. The main reason is that his voice is just very well balanced with a great vocal range to it, and the great thing about it goes with the whole conception of the song, and follows the rhythm of the song perfectly from the beginning of the song till the end of it.
The music video is inspired by old horror movies, and goes with the story, tells the story of the lyrics with scenes from various movies, also the images made a more clearer understanding of the song, making the atmosphere from the song more diabolical and sinister in every possible way.
Solo parts through out the whole song added that great epic melodic touch, with dark tones made the song such a masterpiece of darkness.
There is the end of the song, there is more tension at the end, vocals got deeper, and there we solos mix with it, and of course as the last peace of the song, great crushing riffs, and drums beats, making the end of the song glorious, and the whole song just magnificent. This whole experience with song is a pure heavy/hard rock devastation. Striking hard with a touch o evil, heavy dose of pure metal domination rises again, and it will never ever stop.
Statement of the Mechael Denner about the music video/song :
“After a lot of thoughts around what to do next I ended up doing what turned up to be the exact right move towards the music style I really love ; 70’s inspired Heavy Rock. The choice of team for this one came very natural. Bjarne and Flemming I’ve known for decades and exactly what they are capable to do with the rhythm section, and a good vibe to go with it. And by introduction from Mighty Music’s Michael H. Andersen I found the golden voice of Chandler Mogel. A New Yorker with deep roots in the same music style as I love to do. This time I chose a selection of songs I wrote with good people during the last few years and a few obscure covers of songs which have made an impact on my taste in music since my journey as a heavy rock guitarist started many years ago now. This album is for the listeners who like their music hard and heavy with strong beautiful vocals and some No Nonsense playing to back it up. Enjoy !!!!!!”
