British poetic/alternative and progressive storytelling lords The Chronicles of Manimal and Samara (TCOMAS) released new music video for ”Shaman”, taken from the upcoming record ”Trust No Leaders”, which will be released on July 1st.
After the new spiritual explosion, created by storytelling duo and masters. And now here it is the incredible visualization – of their most complex work and story. Daphne never fails in her storytelling skills and narration, followed by her great singing – that completely shows the depths of the song in a proper way. Andrea’s technical parts are just perfect, showing the aural mastery of the story, the best it can. It did that for sure, showing the whole transcendental and higher form of intelligence in aural divine form. Everything is balanced and coordinated in the usually duo’s way – with a dose of high quality art and creativity, that follows every aspect of the song – creating one huge powerful masterpiece.
That brings everything to their listeners and presents the deeper side of art and music, together. Like their previous songs, this song has all of the trades – that are mentioned. Everything that this duo does – with their music comes from a honest place – that is always wrapped in some aural and visual divinity. Creating this atmosphere of full enjoyment and enlightenment. Technical parts and passages are cleverly done by Andrea and go very well – with Daphne’s vision of their art, life and philosophy. The intro of the song is quite mystical, followed by this atmospheric guitar sounds. Then the twist at the end of the song – with full explosion of sounds, raw guitar and tribal sounds, show the true message of the song – hypnotically presenting the transcendence of higher form of existence. It also is arranged and produce in such clever and great manner – every passage sliding greatly into one another. And it goes very well with the imagery of the song- that is breathtaking like rest of the music videos made by duo. This is the most complex storytelling song that has this deep message, that can awake a true vision of ourselves from within.
This is a story about going deep into ourselves, finding our purpose and higher form. Shamans were people that were very connected to the world around them and all of the living thing, also humans, as well. In those ancient times they were doctors, philosophers, mystics. The main point is that the Shamans knew to look deeper – to search for some answers, that is also the main message of the song to awake our true form and acknowledge our main purpose, as humans. Basically like Nikola Tesla said, to be scientifically spiritual. That means that we must be rational, but also to care emotionally and on spiritual level about our environment, since we are all connected and at the same when death comes, equal on this blue planet we call Earth. It is also a search through subconscious, to awake the unconscious part of ourselves. So that we can embrace knowledge that is good for our environment and ourselves, not to be destructive creatures, as we are.
The story is also guided by Jungian psychoanalytic theory – that as well presents ride through spiritual practice and psychosocial one as well , basically that the psyche and soul are connected sharing same life force – that makes one human being whole, as well as the awakening of conscious and subconscious , making a human one functional and complex living being – that has reached higher form in his evolutionary path. Jung’s theory was about human beings that are connected to each other and their ancestors – through a shared set of experiences and emotions, deeply connected through every spiritual and neurological link in human’s brain .We as humans use this collective consciousness to present it to the world- that we are all the same – also that we have this deep psychic and spiritual connection, as a strong DNA bond. Humans are connected on a much higher level, that can’t be imagine – our thoughts, mindset and everything else is a product our own DNA bond, that we all share as one.
This is the main message of the story. And the duo once again showed the storytelling masterpiece, that have wisdom and philosophy through their art. Humans are nothing without art, every civilization is nothing without art, a blank paper. We would be just like wild animals – with instinct and nothing else. This is what these two have done, showing our superiority – that can be fulfilled with the embracement of art. This song presents that as well, but also not to forget – who we are, but to embrace the best sides of our living process and evolution.
The imagery of the video is astonishing. Every time that this two made a video, they just create mind-blowing visual. And of course to go with the story. They always did a perfect job in creating this life imitates art moment, this is also one of the best moment’s. The best visual parts of the song is red three part and deer part, that present’s absolute freedom and wisdom from the wild. And of course cosmic images showing the divine creation and it’s best, also the higher form of existence.
We all need to learn how to fight our demons, to learn to embrace the best within us. To be higher beings as we are suppose to be. That also means that we need to take care of our planet. We only have one and the other planets – won’t helps us be who we are or change ourselves. Home is were your thoughts are and past is. This is clearly presented by the duo – followed by divine awakening sounds of liberty. This song is everything that freedom is. The duo showed crucial point of selfcare and knowledge. It is a masterpiece of divine sounds and storytelling art – that can free our mind and soul. To be divine and free forever.
Follow the light and wisdom, awake your mind through the sounds and visuals of true liberation.
The duo states this about the new song:
”’Shaman’ tells a tale of a symbolic journey into one’s psyche. The song narrates a personal confrontation with the unconscious through mythopoetic imagination. Resolved to open herself to the strange impulses surging up from the depths of her unconscious mind, she entrusts herself to the guidance of a transcendent spiritual intelligence who leads her on a voyage of discovery “to the end of the world”, “through the ocean of infinite worlds, the sea of all souls”.
It is a story that represents man’s quest for wholeness and fulfilment. It talks about the possibility of encountering our inner worlds by willingly surrendering to one’s psyche in order to encounter one’s unconscious. This experience is akin to the Native American Sweat Lodge Ceremony, inipi or inikagapi, whereby participants pass through four doors to cleanse and prepare themselves for Vision Quests, Hanbleceya, which are journeys into the spiritual world.
Guided by Jungian psychoanalytic theory, ‘Shaman’ introduces the idea that the first step in the journey towards human fulfilment and individuation is to first acknowledge and engage with the inner worlds within us by bringing the contents of our unconscious mind into our consciousness.”
